baccarat rules

playing "go bank", may do this either with single hand or a cheval i.e. on two hands separately, with half of the stake being played each hand. If the punter loses he can again "go bank", and if he loses again, he can do "go bank" for third time, which is his last try.

The Banker can retire at any time, but he must play at least one hand to do so. He must say with amount he is retiring, and then the right to be the banker is open to any punter in order of rotation, he is starting with the same amount and dealing the reminder of the card pack, which his predecessor has left. The resigning banker takes the place which the new banker was occupying.

If the stakes of the punters exceeds the amount (at that time) in the bank, the banker is not responsible for the amount of such excess. If the banker loses, the croupier pays the punters in order of rotation, but as far as the funds in the bank will extend, beyond this, the punters have no claim. The banker however can declare that the exceeding stakes are accepted, but then he must put the needful funds. In such event the bank becomes unlimited and the banker must hold all the stakes or give up the bank.
