A player who has "gone bank" and lost in the last deal, has the right to do this again in this deal, although that the deal may have "passed" to another player.

When the supply of cards is exhausted, the croupier takes a fresh handful from the heap before him, then he gives them to a player at his left to cut them and then passes the cards to the banker. The dealer must have at least 7 cards left in his hand for the deal to be a valid one, if the cards are not enough (below 7), they are thrown in the basket at the center of the table and the croupier gives him a new supply of cards in the mentioned above method.

Unlike Chemin de Fer, in this variation of Baccarat the position of the banker is more permanent, and doesn't change after a win. The banker can play until all of the cards in play are dealt (usually there are three packs of cards are used), but if he doesn't want to continue playing, he can retire at any point of the game. The banker is usually the player who is willing to risk the largest amount, in some casinos the player which name is first in the list of players, has the right to start the bank with amount he thinks is proper.

After the setting the bank, the players take their place at the game table. The Banker sits midway down one of the sides of the table (which must be oval) and the croupier is right before him and the basket in which the old cards a thrown is right between them. The punters( maximum 10 are allowed ) sits of each side of the banker, anyone who desire to play must stay around the table and can participate only when the amount in the bank can't be covered by the seated players.

The five punters on the right (along with the standing players who participate in the stakes for this side of the table) win or lose by the cards dealt to this side of the table, the same rule is in effect and for the other side of the table. The rules as to turning up with 8 or 9, offering and accepting cards and so on, are the same as at Baccarat Chemin de Fer.

Each punter continues to hold cards until he loses, after that the cards are dealt to the next in rotation punter.

While any punter can "go bank", the first who can do this is the punter at right side of the banker, the second is the punter at the left and so on. In case of two players of opposite side of the table, wishing to "go bank", they do this with half shares.
