At the beginning of the round, the Banker places his bet and them the other players make theirs stakes. Any punter can say "Banco" which means "go bank" i.e. he will play against the whole of the banker's stake, if not he place his bet in front of him. If the total of the players bets is not equal to the amount at this time time in the bank, then some of the persons around may stake in addition. If the total is equal or greater, the nearest punters in order to the banker, have the preference up to such amount, the banker have the right to decline any stake in excess of that limit.

After making the bets, the banker deal four cards with theirs faces downwards, these cards he gives to the four punters right of himself. The punter who has the biggest stake is the representative of the other punters, in case two or more punters have equal stakes, then the one who is first in rotation is the representative. Then each of the four punters looks at his cards, if someone has a score of 9 or 8 he turns them up and announce their value aloud and the hand is at an end. Otherwise if the punter has greater score than the banker, the latter pays each punter the amount of his bet, if If the banker has a stronger hand, the bank takes the stakes of the punter.

The game proceeds and the bets are made again, if the banker was the winner in the last deal, he deals again, if not then the next in order player is the banker.

If there are no turned up cards after the deal( nobody have a 9 or 8 ), the banker offers a third card. If the punter has a "baccarat"( 10 or 20 i.e. 0 ), 1, 2, 3, or 4, he accepts the third card replying with "Yes" or "Card" and the banker deals him a card facing up. If the punter has score of 6 or 7, he refuses the third card. In cases where the punter has a 5, then he may or may not accept the third card offered to him and no one has the right to advise him.

Now the banker must decide if he will draw a third card, this decision is based upon the cards, which the banker has and by the reaction of the punter when the banker offers him a third card, if the punter hesitated when deciding to accept or decline the third card, then this a sign that the punter has a score of 5. After the banker draws or not a third card, he must expose his cards, in case of his win he takes the punter bets, else the banker pays. When there is a tie, the bets are leaved at the table and remain for the next hand.

If the banker wishes to retire he says "I pass the deal" and he can not withdraw any part of his winnings, which are property of the bank. The next players in rotation has the right to be the bankers, but they must start the bank with the same amount as the previous banker had. If nobody desires to became the banker, then the player at the right of the late banker has the liberty to start the bank with amount he thinks is enough.
