time the cards are face-up and are community cards which means that they are not individual but are for all players in the same time. This deal is called a "flop". After the flop a second betting round starts from the dealers left and continues clockwise. After the end of the flop round, one community card is dealt after what a third betting round follows then one more community card and forth betting round at last. And the hand ends with showdown if necessary. It is not necessary only when just one player bets and all other fold. Otherwise each player plays the best 5 card hand he/she is able to make by using the 2 cards he/she holds and the 5 community cards (no matter which 5 cards – the player is not forced to use the 2 cards he/she holds). But in case the player uses all 5 community cards he/she can only hope to split the pot as those cards can be used by the other players as well.
