One of the most famous and world-wide games Poker has its multinational roots. The predecessor Spanish game called "Primero" had its special rules. Each player had not five but three cards. And there were only three card combinations. After a while, some cards were added. Poker inherited its betting kind form the English game Brag and the German game “Pochen”. In 1829 Joe Cowell, an English actor traced the Poker rules. Each player had a hand of five cards. After dealing the cards, the betting part started. That form of the Poker, called Nas, a Persian game, was commonly played. This is why many people think that Nas is the predecessor of the Poker. But that's not true. Poker in its nowadays form of 52-cards is soon modified. The main changes in the game were mainly connected with the entering of new cards .The draw that motivated players to stay in even if they loose, was added. The transform of Poker was made during 1861-1870, during the years of Civil War. Then it was a widely spread game among the soldiers. But the most famous transformation of Poker is after its introducing as an Internet game. Now Poker can be played absolutely for free. You can enter the game from different sites. You can start playing the game owing chips. These are the so-called Ring games. There is a variety of Poker games. The On Demanding tournaments reclaim a certain number of players. And the game starts after joining enough players. There are some other tournaments with pre-defined prizes. Several players take part in the game .The game doesn't stop until one player remains. Many Internet companies offer on-line Poker games to people who are interested in. In the USA Internet betting on horse racing is permitted. But WTO limited Internet betting and prohibited using sanctions till April 2006.After this date, the USA is still waiting for banning Internet gambling.
