5 myths about slot machines
Myth one: The slot machines are programmed to give money away within defined periods of time.
The truth is that the slot machines aren't programmed that way. A system like that can be easily predicted and it's owner would lose his reputation. The results the slot machines generate are totally random and punching the machine doesn't help :)
Myth two: Play only on slot machines that haven't recently paid jackpots or big amounts of money
The truth is that this is also not true. The video slot machines neither count the coins nor estimate their incomes and expenditures. It is all pure mathematics and the casinos do not manipulate the numbers and signs at all. Every manipulation by the part of the casino may lead confusing the algorithm which will most probably lead to bad sequences for the casinos but not for the players :)
Myth three: The slot machines determine whether to give money to the player or not upon the frequency of the coins inserted in a cycling principle.
That is also not true at all and the probability for a machine which "pays" every day to "pay" again is absolutely the same as for a one who have never paid or any other machine. Everything is being calculated by a computer and the payments percentage displayed on the slot's machine screen is nothing more than just statistics. Remember that it can't affect the probabilities but it is just an average number for the past year and doesn't play any role.
Myth four: It is not necessary to put much on concentration when playing on slot machines.
Although the betting process and the whole concept of the slot machines looks simple and straightforward those machines still deserve some concentration. And that is not because you are able to increase your winning chances but because each slot machines has its own rules and if it happens to you to play on some type of slot machine that you haven’t played on before then you might have some troubles.
Myth five: There are strategies that can guarantee your winning over the slot machine.
The truth is that the slot machines differ from the table games and cards. There can’t be any constructive strategy here as everything is being controlled by a pure mathematical algorithm. The machine is programmed in a way that it always wins in the long term. That doesn’t mean that you will 100% lose but it is like one wins, another loses and at the end – the machine earns. Just estimate your time and money and learn to stop when you see you have a bad day :)
Good luck!
